This 210 L plastic drum is the standard full-size open-top drum, with a clip-on lid held by a locking ring. It gives you a full drum of space for feed, grease, oil or water, and you can reach inside because the top is open.
It weighs 10.6 kg, which is the heavier build in the 210 L family and suits repeated site use. The dimensions of about 585 mm across and 930 mm tall are an estimate for a typical 210 L drum, so confirm if your rack is tight. Fit a spill pallet underneath for liquids.

Questions about this product
Does the clip-on lid seal well enough for transport?
The clip-on lid presses onto the rim and locks with a ring, which holds well for storage and normal handling on a bakkie or trailer. It is not a pressure seal. For liquids that you will roll or tip, a tight-head drum with bungs is the safer choice. Strap the drum upright either way.
Do you deliver a 210 L plastic drum to Mbombela?
Yes, we deliver with our own trucks to all nine provinces, including Mbombela, normally in 1 to 3 days. Fees follow total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, over 100 kg on quotation. This ships at 10.6 kg, in the up to 30 kg (R550) band. Around 2 of these fit inside the 30 kg band, so ordering several together cuts the cost per drum.
Is the 10.6 kg drum stronger than the 8.5 kg ones?
It has more plastic in the body, so it handles knocks and repeated filling better than the lighter blow-moulded drums. The exact wall thickness is on request. If you need a sealed liquid drum, the 8.5 kg tight-head drum is lighter and has bungs. For a scoop-access drum this heavier one is the better fit.
What can I store in a 210 L clip-on lid drum?
Water, oils, many chemicals and dry goods such as feed, pellets or salt, because the HDPE body resists most common products. Check your own product for compatibility, and ask us before storing anything aggressive. We do not state a food-contact rating for this drum, so ask us first if that matters for your use.
