This 210 L open-head drum is a blow-moulded HDPE container with a fully removable lid held by a locking ring. Choose it when you need to scoop product out, clean the inside or tip the drum empty without fighting a bung.

It weighs 9.5 kg and the full opening makes it far easier to fill with feed, pellets, powders or grease than a tight-head drum. The size, about 585 mm across and 930 mm tall, is an estimate for a typical 210 L drum, so confirm if space is tight.

An open-head drum has a fully removable top, so you can fill it with a scoop, reach in with a brush and empty it completely. That suits feed, powders, grease and pellets. A tight-head drum with bungs suits thin liquids you pour or pump out, and seals better when it is tipped.

Do you deliver a 210 L plastic drum to Bloemfontein?

Yes, we deliver with our own trucks to all nine provinces, including Bloemfontein, normally in 1 to 3 days. Is the lid watertight in the rain?

With the ring locked the lid keeps rain and dust out of a drum standing upright, which is how it should be stored. It is not a pressure seal, so do not roll or tip it when full of liquid. For a liquid you will pour or pump, a tight-head drum with bungs is the safer choice.
