Overview

This 1,300 L bund tank is a compact containment base for a 500 L to 1,000 L tank or a few drums: 1,500 mm across and only 850 mm high, so it fits in a workshop corner or beside a farm shed.

The bund measures 1500 mm across and 850 mm high and weighs about 20 kg. It is made from LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), a food-grade virgin plastic that is UV resistant and BPA free, so it is built for years outdoors. Note that the internal tank is not included: this is the base bund only, and the maker recommends internal tanks of 500 L, 800 L or 1,000 L. It is for above-ground, stationary use only.

Where it works
