Overview

This combo is a small, complete water supply: a 1000 L vertical tank, a solar-compatible smart booster pump, a pump cover, a suction hose kit and a float valve kit. The RUC-750 variable speed pump gives constant pressure at up to 5.5 m3/h and 55 m head. At 790 mm wide it fits where bigger tanks cannot, such as beside a house or in a tight yard. Options

Choose the tank colour: Tan, Green or Grey. All three are R 8,556 (VAT incl.), and the contents are identical.

Where it works

The 1000 L size suits household backup water through load-shedding, garden irrigation, small commercial sites and light livestock use. Gauteng homeowners use it to hold municipal supply, Western Cape households collect rainwater with it, and small farms in Limpopo and KZN pair it with a borehole. The tank comes with 40 mm red and 50 mm yellow connectors. It is for above-ground, stationary use, so check the site and secure the tank once it is full. A 1000 L slim tank with Intelli VSD pump is another option, and the 1400 L combo adds more storage.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Rustenburg and Polokwane. The combo ships at about 45 kg, so it falls in the 30 to 60 kg delivery band. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model. Installation is not included.
