Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Tank Flange, 3 Inch

Description

Overview

This 3 inch stainless steel flange is a heavy duty outlet fitting for chemical, silo, water and transport tanks. The 3 inch size is a common choice for tanker discharge and bulk water or grain-silo outlets, where you need a bigger flow path than 2 inch. Stainless steel keeps its strength and resists corrosion where mild steel would rust and plastic could crack, so it suits harsh site and road conditions. Match it to the other sizes in our pipe fittings range as your pipework requires.

Key features

Where it works

Haulage and fuel-chemical operators in Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal use 3 inch flanges on transport tank outlets. Grain farmers and feed mills in the Free State and North West fit them to silo outlets, and mining contractors on the Mpumalanga coal fields and in Limpopo use them on water and reagent tanks. Check your tank outlet size and wall thickness first. The smaller 2 inch flange and the bigger 4 inch flange are in the same range.
