This 80 mm PVC elbow turns a round downpipe through 45 degrees, which is the gentle bend you need when a pipe has to drift sideways without a sharp corner.

A 45 degree turn slows the water less than a 90 degree one and is kinder to leaf debris, so it is often the better choice on longer runs. Two of them back to back make a neat offset. Where it works
