Choose the 5:1 for thick gear oils up to SAE 240 or when the hose run is long, because it builds up to 40 bar. Choose the 3:1 for thinner oil, where 12 L/min fills a sump quicker than the 5:1's 8 L/min.

Will it fit a 205 L drum?

Yes. The 940 mm suction tube is sized to reach the bottom of a standard 205 L oil drum, and the pump mounts through the drum bung. Check the bung thread on your drums if they are an unusual make, and ask us if you need an adaptor.
