Overview

The JYB-01 is a 220 V oil gear pump that moves lubricating oil at 9 to 15 L/min and up to 12 bar, driven by a 0.75 kW single-phase motor. It is a mains-powered 220v oil transfer pump for drum-to-reservoir work. Note it is an AC gear pump, not part of our 12V diesel transfer range.

Where it works

Oil changes on a haul truck fleet in Mpumalanga, gearbox top-ups at a Gauteng plant, or bulk lubricant transfers on a Free State farm all go faster with a powered pump than with a hand pump. It needs mains power, so on remote sites run it from a generator or inverter. Respect the duty cycle and let it rest between long transfers. Questions about this product

Can I pump diesel with the JYB-01?

This pump is specified for lubricating oil, and we do not recommend it for diesel or petrol. Fuel needs a pump designed for it, with the right seals and an appropriate motor. Use one of our diesel transfer pumps for fuel, and keep this unit for oil.

How long can it run continuously?

The duty cycle is 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off. Running it longer without a rest will overheat the 0.75 kW motor and shorten its life. For a long transfer, pause for half an hour or use a second pump to share the load.

Do you deliver to Klerksdorp and what does it cost?

Yes, we deliver to all nine provinces on our own trucks, normally in 1 to 3 days from Polokwane. This item ships at 15 kg, which is the up to 30 kg band: R550 if it is the only item in the order. Orders of R20,000 or more VAT incl. ship free, so adding an oil hose reel can make freight free.
