Overview

The DL90 replacement hydraulic stack is the complete cartridge of impellers, stage chambers (diffusers) and shaft that builds pressure inside a DL90 vertical multistage pump, supplied for the exact pump model you select. Fitting a new stack brings it back to its original performance for much less than the price of a new pump, because the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used.

Choose by the number after the dash on your nameplate. The -40 in DL90-40-2 is the stage count (4 stages) and must match exactly. Not sure? Send us a photo of the nameplate and we will confirm the part. Questions about this product

How do I choose the right DL90 stack?

Read the model on your pump nameplate, for example DL90-40-2. The number after the dash gives the stage count, and the stack must match it exactly. A stack with a different number of stages will not fit the sleeve and will not give the right pressure. Send us a photo of the nameplate if you are unsure and we will confirm the part.

Does the stack include the mechanical seal?

No. The mechanical seal is sold separately, and we recommend replacing it at the same time as the stack. The seal code is 95020102 and it fits DL32, DL45, DL64 and DL90 pumps. Ask us to add it to your order so the pump is sealed properly when it goes back together.

Do I need to replace the whole pump when it loses pressure?

Not usually. When sand, grit or dry running has worn the impellers, fitting a new stack restores the original performance, and the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used. It costs far less than a new pump. If the housing or motor is also damaged, a full replacement may make more sense, so ask us.

Do you deliver DL90 stacks to Rustenburg?

Yes. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to Rustenburg and every other province in 1 to 3 days. Fees follow total order weight. The larger stacks are over 100 kg and are delivered on quotation, so tell us your pump model and we will confirm the weight and the fee.
