Description

Overview

This is a replacement hydraulic stack, also called a pump cartridge, for AQS DL64 vertical multistage pumps. The stack is the complete set of impellers, stage chambers (diffusers) and shaft that builds the pressure, so fitting a new one restores a worn pump to its original performance.

A new stack costs far less than a new pump because you keep the motor, base and outer sleeve. Read the model on your nameplate, for example DL64-40. The number after the dash shows the stage count (-40 means 4 stages), and the stack must match it exactly, otherwise it will not fit the sleeve or give the right pressure.

Questions about this product

How do I choose the right DL64 stack?

Read the model on your pump nameplate, for example DL64-40, and pick the exact match from the options. The number after the dash gives the stage count, and a stack with a different number of stages will not fit the sleeve or give the right pressure. Send us a photo of the nameplate if you are unsure.

Does the stack include the mechanical seal?

No. The mechanical seal is sold separately under code 95020102 and fits DL32, DL45, DL64 and DL90 pumps. We recommend replacing it at the same time as the stack, since you already have the pump opened up. Ask us to add it to the same order.

Will a new stack fix a pump that has lost pressure?

It does when worn impellers are the cause, which is common after sand, grit or running dry. A new stack brings back the original pressure and flow while you keep your motor, base and sleeve. If the fault is the motor or the seal, a stack alone will not cure it, so send us the symptoms first.

Do you deliver DL64 stacks to Pretoria?

Yes. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to Pretoria and the rest of the country in 1 to 3 days. The largest stack ships at about 46 kg, which falls in the 30 to 60 kg band at R950. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) get free delivery.
