Description

Overview

This 30 kW (40 HP), 380 V three-phase motor in frame 200L is the drive end for DL vertical multistage pumps in the DL32, DL45, DL64 and DL90 families. The DL pump ends are sold without a motor, so you need one to complete a new pump or to replace a burnt-out motor.

It uses a 200L frame with a B3/B5 foot and flange mount (F200L B3-B5), so it can be fixed by its feet or by its flange. The 2-pole winding turns at about 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz supply.

380 V three-phase is the common supply on farms and industrial sites. It needs a three-phase supply, so a house or small farm on 220 V single-phase will need a different motor.

Where it works

Farms in Limpopo, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal, and industrial yards on 380 V three-phase, use this motor to drive DL pumps for irrigation boosting, wash-down lines and plant water supply. This is a heavy motor for the big DL64 and DL90 pump ends, used for high-flow, high-pressure water supply.
