DL Pump Motor 37 kW, 525 V Three-Phase, Frame 200L

Overview

This 37 kW (50 HP), 525 V three-phase motor in frame 200L is the drive end for DL vertical multistage pumps in the DL45, DL64 and DL90 families. The DL pump ends are sold without a motor, so you need one to complete a new pump or to replace a burnt-out motor.

It uses a 200L frame with a B3/B5 foot and flange mount (F200L B3-B5), so it can be fixed by its feet or by its flange. The 2-pole winding turns at about 2900 rpm on a 50 Hz supply.

The 525 V rating is the supply found on mines and some large installations. Check the voltage of your site supply before you order, because a 525 V motor is not interchangeable with a 380 V one.

Match the motor to your pump model using the Compatible pumps row in the specs, and to the supply you have on site. If you are unsure, send us the pump model and a photo of your DB board and we will confirm the right motor. The full multistage pump range has the pump ends, seals and stacks too.

Where it works

Mining sites around eMalahleni coal and the Rustenburg platinum belt run on 525 V, and this motor keeps a DL pump running on that supply. This is a heavy motor for the big DL64 and DL90 pump ends, used for high-flow, high-pressure water supply. Shipping weight is about 262 kg. That is over 100 kg, so delivery is on quotation for your site. Free delivery applies to orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.).
