Description

Overview

The 800 L slimline vertical water tank is a tall, narrow storage tank for places where a standard round tank will not fit. It is 730 mm in diameter and 1950 mm high, so it slots into a side passage, a townhouse courtyard or beside a garage wall. It is made from UV-stabilised, food-grade LLDPE with a black inner liner against algae.

It suits rainwater harvesting off a small roof, a garden irrigation reserve or a top-up supply for a small commercial building. A leaf catcher comes with the tank, which helps keep debris out of the water. If you need a bit less room, the 500 L vertical tank is the smaller choice.

One tank in three colours: green, grey or tan. Each colour is R 1,864 (VAT incl.). Moulded colour can differ slightly from what you see on screen.

Will an 800 litre slimline tank fit down a narrow side passage?

Yes. It is only 730 mm in diameter, so it fits where a round tank of the same volume will not. Measure your gap and allow room for the pipes, and check there is 1950 mm of height clear above the base.

Does the slimline tank come with a leaf catcher?

Yes, a leaf catcher is supplied with the tank. It helps stop leaves and debris entering when you use the tank for rainwater harvesting. Gutters should still be cleaned from time to time, and the lid kept closed.
