60 L Tight-Head Steel Drum, Lacquered, UN Approved, with Handle

Description

Overview

This 60 litre tight-head steel drum is lacquered inside, UN approved and listed as food grade. It is the mid-size sealed drum for liquids when 30 litres is too small and 210 litres is too heavy to handle alone. A top handle and two metal bungs, 2 inch and 3/4 inch, are fitted.

At 355 × 355 × 650 mm and 6 kg empty, it still moves with a hand trolley or between two people. The lining keeps contents off bare steel, and the sealed head means nothing spills if it tips with the bungs in. It is finished in blue and made in South Africa.

Where it works

Typical jobs for a 60 litre tight head steel drum: use it for liquid feed supplements on a Limpopo cattle farm, coolant at a Gauteng fleet depot, or additives at a Western Cape cellar. Municipal plants use it for treatment chemicals. The 60 L open-top steel drum gives full access, and the 30 L tight-head steel drum is the next size down. Please make sure there is a flat, level spot and room to offload before delivery day. See all our steel drums for more.
