Overview

This combo puts 2200 litres of rainwater storage next to an entry-level booster pump, so a garden tap or two never runs dry. The tank is a round vertical LLDPE unit, 1300 mm across and only 1800 mm high, which makes it a lower and wider choice than the slimline 2200 L tanks. The QB60 pump arrives with its controller and a tap. Its best efficiency is 10 to 20 L/min at 1 to 2.4 bar, so think hose and watering can, not sprinkler field. It is a simple 2200l garden tank with pump for the home gardener.

Choose a Green, Grey or Tan tank. The pump and fittings do not change, and each colour is R 4,028 (VAT incl.).

Where it works

The wide 1300 mm footprint suits a garden with space beside the house: a plot in Gauteng, a smallholding in Limpopo or a Western Cape garden collecting winter rain. Its lower profile also helps under low eaves. The light-duty pump covers garden taps, watering and car washing but not an irrigation field. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Cape Town, George, Bloemfontein, Mahikeng and Welkom. The packed combo weighs about 55 kg, which falls in the 30 to 60 kg band at R950. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model.
