Overview
This 1000 L IBC-tank pressure washer skid is an electric-powered pressure washer with its own water supply: it delivers up to 100 bar at 12 L/min, drawing from a reconditioned IBC tank in a steel cage mounted on a steel skid frame. It runs on mains power at 230 V single phase, or a suitably sized generator. You lift it onto a bakkie or park it in the yard. The pump draws from the tank, so you can wash where there is no tap, no borehole and no dam nearby. A tank lasts roughly 83 minutes of continuous spraying at full flow.

Where it works
Farmers wash tractors, implements and milking sheds with it, and feedlots and dairies in the Free State and Western Cape use it for pens and equipment. Mines in Mpumalanga and Limpopo run it for haul trucks and conveyor frames, and contractors and municipalities use it for plant, bins and paving. Because it is a skid, it also suits a fixed workshop wash bay. A full 1000 L tank adds about 1000 kg, so check your bakkie’s payload or fill on site.

Questions about this product
How long does the water last?
At full flow of 12 L/min, the 1000 L tank gives about 83 minutes of continuous spraying. In practice you trigger the lance on and off, so a tank covers a good part of a day for light jobs. A tap or bowser can top it up on site.
Do I need a tap or borehole on site?
No. The pump draws from the tank on the unit, so you can wash anywhere you can park it. Fill the tank from a tap, a borehole or a bowser before you go, and top it up when it runs low.
Do you deliver to the Karoo or Rustenburg?
Yes, our own trucks run from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days. This unit ships at 132 kg, which is over 100 kg, so the delivery fee is quoted per order. Orders from R20,000 (VAT incl.) ship free.
Can I run it on a generator?
Yes, it needs 230 V single phase for the 2.2 kW motor. Use a generator with enough capacity to cover the motor's starting load, and ask us if you are unsure about sizing. During load-shedding it will only run if your backup power can carry that load.
Can I put it on a bakkie?
Yes, the skid frame suits a bakkie load bed, but weigh it up first. The unit ships at 132 kg dry and a full 1000 L tank adds about 1000 kg of water. Check your payload, or fill the tank on site.
