This 10 000 L full house kit is a rotomoulded water tank sold with a 0.37 kW peripheral pump, a 3-stage wall-mount filter and a 55 W UV light, so stored water is pumped, filtered and sterilised in one line. The 0.37 kW peripheral pump gives up to 34 L/min at heads up to 36 m, a clear step up in flow and head from the Econo pump in the same size of kit.

Where it works
A 10 000 L tank suits Free State grain farms, Western Cape vineyards and orchards, mine villages in the Mpumalanga coal belt and municipal standby points. Use it to lift water from the tank to taps, a geyser feed or a small garden on a rural plot. Borehole and rainwater are the usual sources, and the filter and UV stage polishes them before the tap. We suggest a lab water test on any borehole supply before you treat it as drinking water.

How does this pump differ from the Econo version?
This 0.37 kW peripheral pump gives up to 34 L/min and 36 m head, against 23 L/min and 30 m on the Econo pump. Both suit taps and a garden. Choose this one when the delivery line is longer or the stand is slightly uphill from the tank.
How much is delivery to Springbok for this tank kit?
Delivery is priced by total order weight. At 210.0 kg shipping weight it is over 100 kg, so delivery is quoted for your site. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) ship free. Our own trucks run from Polokwane and normally reach Springbok within 1 to 3 days. The tank travels bare, so tell us if access to your site is tight.
What base does a 10 000 L tank need?
A full 10 000 L tank holds about 10,000 kg of water, so it needs a level, compacted base, ideally a concrete slab or a built stand, with no sharp stones under it. Fill it only once it is in its final position. Do not move it when full.
Will the filter and UV light make borehole water drinkable?
The 5 micron, carbon and nano silver cartridges take out sediment, chlorine, taste and odour, and the 55 W UV light targets bacteria. Water quality varies by borehole, so have a sample tested first. Ask us about replacement cartridges and UV lamps for this kit.
