Description

Overview

This 5000 L tank combo adds water treatment to a standard tank and pump set. You get a vertical LLDPE tank, a 0.75 kW end-suction pump with flow controller, a 55 W submersible UV-C light and a triple 20-inch filter frame. The pump gives up to 120 L/min at 32 m head, enough for a double-storey house and a garden together. The filters remove sand, rust, mud and chlorine, and the UV light works inside the tank where the water stays in contact with it. It is a complete 5000l water tank with pump, UV light and filters for drinking-quality storage.

Where it works

Rainwater harvesting systems, farm houses and guest lodges in Limpopo and Mpumalanga are the obvious fit. It also improves municipal supply for drinking water where taste or chlorine is a problem. Heavy daily use may need extra UV capacity, so call us if you draw most of the tank each day. Questions about this product

Do I need the filters if I have the UV light?

Yes. UV-C works best when particles are filtered out first, ideally down to 0.2 micron, because dirt shields bacteria from the light. The triple filter in the kit removes sand, rust, mud and chlorine. Fit the filters on the supply line to your drinking taps and replace the cartridges as they clog.

Can I use this on a borehole or only rainwater?

You can feed the tank from roof rainwater, a municipal line or a borehole, as long as the water is clean enough once filtered. Very silty or brackish water needs more treatment than this kit gives. Tell us your water source and we will advise before you order.

What is delivery to Tzaneen for this 5000 L kit?
