Overview

This 3/4 x 1 nozzle swivel does two jobs at once: it reduces from a 1″ hose to a 3/4″ nozzle inlet, and it lets the nozzle rotate so the hose does not wind up. The 3/4″ male end goes into the nozzle and the 1″ female end takes the hose.

It is the compact version; a full-size 3/4″ x 1″ swivel does the same job in a larger body. Pair it with a 3/4″ x 3/4″ swivel elsewhere on the yard if some pumps run 3/4″ hose, or fit a new hose end by hand with the 3/4″ reusable hose fitting.

Where it works

The 3/4 x 1 nozzle swivel suits farm diesel tanks with 1″ hose feeding a light 3/4″ nozzle, standby generator refuelling points that run through load-shedding, and contractor bowsers on road jobs in Limpopo and North West. Workshops use it when a new nozzle does not match the old hose, which saves cutting and re-ending a good hose just to change the thread size. Keep one in the spares drawer.
