Description

Overview

A 2200 L tank and a pump that is already matched to it: a 0.75 kW (1 HP) end-suction booster pump, model CPM158, with a DSK2 flow controller, good for 120 L/min and a 32 m head.

The tank is rotationally moulded food-grade LLDPE, UV resistant and BPA free, with a black inner liner against algae. The CPM158 is a single-impeller end-suction centrifugal with a DSK2 flow controller. It runs continuously on water up to 60 C. The body is cast iron, the impeller brass, the seal ceramic and graphite, and the winding 100% copper.

Three 20-inch Big Blue filters remove sand, rust, mud and chlorine, and a 55 W UV-C light in the tank treats the stored water.

Questions about this product

Is installation included?

No, installation is not included. The kit comes with the suction hose kit, float valve kit and pump cover, so a plumber or a handy owner can connect it. Place the tank on a firm, level base first, fit the float valve to your feed line, then connect the pump suction and your outlet pipework. Tank stands are not part of this price.

What pressure does this pump give?

The 0.75 kW pump gives a maximum head of 32 m, which is about 3.2 bar. That is enough for a house, including a double-storey with a gentle run, plus garden taps. The controller starts the pump when a tap opens and stops it when flow stops. For more head, look at the 1.1 kW combo.

Do I need the filters for the UV light to work?

Yes, use them together. UV-C treats water best when particles are filtered out first, so the triple Big Blue filters go ahead of the taps and the 55 W light sits in the tank. Draw water slowly enough for contact time, and add tank or UV capacity if your daily use is high.
