Overview

This 2200 litre water tank with 0.75kw pump is a complete drinking-water set: a 2,200 L vertical tank, a 0.75 kW peripheral pump rated up to 60 L/min and 60 m of head, a 3-stage wall filter and a 55 W UV steriliser, all supplied together. A peripheral impeller trades flow for pressure: at 60 m of head it pushes water uphill and through long pipe runs where a monoblock would run out of steam.

The 2,200 L tank is an upright rotomoulded unit that must sit on a properly built, level base or tank stand and stay put once it is full.

Is a peripheral pump better than a monoblock for pressure?

Yes, for pressure over volume. The 0.75 kW peripheral gives up to 60 m of head but only 60 L/min, so it suits hills, long pipelines and sprinklers. A monoblock moves more water at lower pressure. If you need to fill big drums quickly rather than push water far, ask us about the monoblock versions.

Can I drink water treated by the filter and UV unit?

The 3-stage filter takes out sediment, chlorine, taste and odour, and the 55 W UV steriliser targets bacteria, so together they improve drinking water. The UV unit is rated 2,700 L/h, so size your treated line to that. Test your source water first, because heavy contamination may need extra treatment.
