This is the standard 210 litre tight-head steel drum with a plain interior and a black finish. It is new and listed as UN approved, with a sealed head and bung openings for filling, pumping and draining. For oils, diesel and general industrial liquids it is the most economical new option.

The interior is bare steel with no lining, so keep it for contents that do not mind steel contact. Other colours can be requested. A drum plug wrench is available if you want to open the bungs without damaging them, and the usual 584 × 584 mm footprint fits existing pallets and trolleys.

Yes. Diesel, engine oil, hydraulic oil and gear oil are routinely stored in plain-interior steel drums. The plain interior is the cheaper option. For contents that should not touch bare steel, such as some food-grade products, choose the lacquered drum instead.

Can I get this drum in a different colour?

Black is the standard finish. The supplier lists other colours as available on request, though lead time and minimum quantity may differ. Send us the colour and quantity you need and we will confirm before you order, so you are not stuck with a surprise.

Can I get a wrench to open the bungs?

A drum plug wrench is available as an add-on and makes opening and closing the bungs quicker and safer, without rounding them off. It is not included with the drum, so ask us to add it to your order and we will deliver it together.
