Description

Overview

This 1.5 inch fuel hose reel is a retractable drum built to hold 20 m of 1.5″ delivery hose, so large-bore fuel lines stay coiled and off the ground. It is sold without hose, so order the hose to match. At 49 kg bare, it is a serious piece of kit: add roughly 25 to 30 kg once a 38 to 40 mm hose is wound on.

Specification summary for the 1.5 inch fuel hose reel: hose size 1.5″ (38 to 40 mm), not included; hose capacity 20 m; inlet 1.5″; fluid compatibility diesel, kerosene, petrol; hose supplied No, reel only; mounting fixed mount, retractable drum.

Key features

1.5″ inlet connection for high-flow bulk dispensing
Holds 20 m of 38 to 40 mm hose
Retractable drum protects the hose from tyres, sun and kinks
Rated for diesel, kerosene and petrol
Bare reel, so you choose the hose length, grade and fittings

Where it works

Bowser-to-truck refuelling on a Mpumalanga coal mine, a transport depot in Gauteng or a bulk diesel tank on a Free State grain farm all chew through hose that lies in the dirt. Mount this reel at the dispenser and the hose lives on the drum until it is needed. Check hose length against your layout first, because 20 m is the drum capacity. Questions about this product

Does the 1.5 inch reel come with a hose?

No. It is supplied bare and sized to hold up to 20 m of 1.5 inch (38 to 40 mm) hose. Buy the hose separately, and allow for roughly 25 to 30 kg of extra weight once it is wound on, which matters for your wall or stand mounting.

What fluids can I run through this reel?

The reel is specified for diesel, kerosene and petrol. Your actual hose decides the final compatibility, so match the hose grade to the fuel and check the hose maker's rating. Ask us if you plan to use it for anything outside those three fuels.

Do you deliver to Mokopane and what does it cost?

Yes, we deliver to all nine provinces on our own trucks, normally in 1 to 3 days from Polokwane. This item ships at 57 kg, which is the 30 to 60 kg band: R950 if it is the only item in the order. This unit alone is over R20,000 VAT incl., so delivery on it is free.
