Description
Overview
The pyramid sprinkler is a stationary garden sprinkler that connects to a hose and waters a patch of lawn or bed from a fixed spot. You set it down, open the tap and move it when the area is done.
It is a simple, low-cost way to water a small area without a full irrigation layout. For permanent pipe layouts, see our irrigation fittings, including the Full Flow Female Tee for Class 3 and 6 LDPE Pipe and the Full Flow Female Elbow for Class 3 and 6 LDPE Pipe.
Key features
- Pyramid-style stationary sprinkler
- Hose connection, no tools needed to set up
- Light at 0.1 kg, easy to move between beds
- Suits lawns, flower beds and small vegetable patches
- Low price for a pyramid garden sprinkler
Where it works
Home gardens, guest-lodge lawns, school and church grounds, and the small vegetable patch behind a farmhouse in Limpopo or the Free State. It is not a field irrigation tool. For orchards, lucerne and vineyards, use a proper pipe layout with drip or sprayers.
Water pressure and the coverage area depend on your tap or pump, so run it for a few minutes and check the spread before you walk away. Many gardeners in load-shedding areas run sprinklers early in the morning when municipal pressure is best.

Questions about this product
How much area does the pyramid sprinkler cover?
Coverage depends on your tap or pump pressure, so we do not quote a fixed figure. As a rule it waters a patch of lawn or a bed from a single spot. Place it, run it for a few minutes, and adjust the position until the spread covers the whole area you want watered.
Does it connect to a normal garden hose?
It has a hose connection, so it attaches to a garden hose. If you use quick-connect couplings or a different hose size, tell us before ordering and we will check that it will fit your setup. Hose and other fittings are sold separately, so confirm what you already have on site before ordering.
What does delivery cost for a single sprinkler?
The sprinkler ships at 0.15 kg, so it falls in the up to 30 kg band at R550 delivery on its own. It is better added to a larger order. Free delivery applies from R20,000 (VAT incl.), and our trucks reach every province in 1 to 3 days.
Can I run it off a borehole pump?
Yes, as long as the pump pressure is suitable for a garden sprinkler and the water is clean. Dirty or sandy borehole water can block small sprinkler holes, so fit an inline filter on the line before the sprinkler. Check the pressure is sensible before you connect it.
