Description

Overview

This is a complete replacement hydraulic stack for DL45 vertical multistage pumps: the cartridge of impellers, diffusers and shaft that builds the pressure. Sand, grit or running dry wears it and the pump loses pressure and flow. A new stack restores original performance for much less than a new pump, as the motor, base and outer sleeve are re-used.

Match the stack to your pump exactly. Read the nameplate model, for example DL45-70-2: the number after the first dash gives the stage count (-40 means 4 stages) and a different count will not fit the sleeve. Not sure? Send us a photo of the nameplate. See also our vertical multistage pumps.

Questions about this product

How do I choose the right stack for my DL45?

Read the model on the pump nameplate, for example DL45-70-2. The stage count follows the first dash, so -40 means 4 stages, and the stack must match it exactly. A different stage count will not fit the sleeve or give the right pressure. Send us a photo of the nameplate if unsure.

Do I need a new mechanical seal with the stack?

We recommend replacing the seal at the same time. It is sold separately under code 95020102 and fits the DL32, DL45, DL64 and DL90. Ask us to add it to your order and we will quote both items together.

Will a new stack fix a DL45 that has lost pressure?

If sand, grit or dry running has worn the impellers, yes: a new stack restores original performance while you keep the motor, base and outer sleeve. If the motor or sleeve is damaged, that needs separate repair.

Do you deliver stacks to Bloemfontein or Rustenburg?

Yes, with our own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days. Smaller stacks fall in the standard weight bands, and the largest, at about 103 kg, is quoted for your site. Orders of R20,000 or more qualify for free delivery.
