Overview
This combo pairs a 15 000 L vertical water tank (15 318 L maximum fill) with a 1.5 kW Intelli VSD booster pump so you can store water and pressurise it from one order. The pump is a 1.5 kW Intelli variable-speed booster. It delivers up to 133.3 L/min (8 m³/h) at 55 m head, enough to empty a well or run an irrigation system, and its drive matches motor speed to demand so pressure stays steady. It is self-priming. The tank is rotomoulded LLDPE and ships empty, with the pump packed separately. The pump is rated for clean water up to 40 °C.

Where it works
A 15 000 L tank is bulk storage: farms in the Free State and Limpopo, mine camps on the Mpumalanga coal belt, schools and municipal standby points that cannot afford to run dry. Power is a normal single-phase supply, and the tank keeps water in reserve through load-shedding, so you can refill the tank when power is on and draw from it during an outage. Questions about this product
Does the pump come with the tank?
Yes, the 15 000 L tank and the 1.5 kW pump are sold together as one combo. The tank is delivered empty and the pump is packed separately. You still need to plumb the pump to the tank outlet and your house or garden pipework, and have the electrical connection done by a qualified electrician.
Can I run it during load-shedding?
The tank keeps water stored, so you can refill it when power is on and still have water in the tank during an outage. Running the 1.5 kW pump off an inverter needs one sized for the motor's start-up surge, which is well above the rated figure. Tell us the pump and we will advise.
Where must the Intelli pump be installed?
It must sit under a ventilated cover, protected from rain and spray, because the electronics and motor are not made to get wet. A pump cabinet, a lean-to or a small brick enclosure with air vents works well. Keep it close to the tank so the suction line stays short.
